Amazon's Black Friday sale is underway and shoppers can nab major discounts on kitchen ware.
Rather than wait until November 24, the tech giant kicked off its 10-day sale on Friday and one gadget that's been discounted majorly is the air fryer. Among the many models on sale, the Uten air fryer is now on sale for £58.99 down from £95.99.
The appliance has grown in popularity as the latest kitchen must-have as a healthy alternative to frying, but many of them can be quite expensive. This deal is available until November 29 or while stocks last, so it may not be around for long.
Available on Amazon, the large capacity fryer is fitted with a 5.5 litre basket to help you prepare up to five tasty foods at once. It also features two operating dials that allows for multi-function cooking to fry, grill, bake and roast, steam, and dehydrate all in one.
Its "new" airduct design and fan blades promises "quiet operation" compared to "most traditional air fryers on the market". The Uten air fryer has earned an overall 4.7 star rating out of five star shopping reviews, with some saying it rivals a well-known brand.
One happy buyer wrote: "I really like this air fryer wish I bought this before I bought my tower one which only lasted 13 months. Suitable for a family. Would recommend it."

A second five star rating said: "Very good value for money I purchased a tower one before and didn't like it too small but this one was cheaper and it's perfect wouldn't be without it recommend it to anyone."
"I don’t know why I took me so long to buy an air fryer," penned a third. "This is easy to use and fairly self explanatory. I haven’t used my oven since buying it just my air fryer and occasionally my microwave. Fairly large capacity, I do wish it was slightly bigger but seeing as I’m cooking for one it’s big enough."

One shopper didn't like that the air fryer's basket is not removable and felt that it limited their cooking options. In a three star review, they wrote: The only thing I do not like that you cannot make curry or stew in the bottom because the basket do not remove and when you remove the basket there is no handle to use.
"You should point this out in the product section with people I’m looking through."
If you want to shop around, Russell Hobbs has slashed the price of a multi-cooker that serves as an air fryer and more. Reduced on Amazon by 41 per cent, the appliance costs £97.80 from £164.99, also features a 5.5 litre capacity and it can can grill, sear, slow cook (low and high), roast, bake or keep food warm.
