Strictly Come Dancing fans were up in arms after the latest development involving Bobby Brazier.
It was Blackpool weekend on the BBC dance show, a favourite spot in the Strictly calendar every year and the one milestone many celebs want to make when they take part in the annual competition.
After their turns on the iconic ballroom floor, it was EastEnders star Bobby Brazier and partner Dianne Buswell who faced Angela Rippon, 79, and Kai Widdrington in the dreaded dance off.
Angela and Kai were performing an American Smooth to Tea For Two by Ella Fitzgeral and Bobby and Dianne strutted their stuff in the form of a Jive to Wham!’s Wake Me Up Before You Go Go.
But despite stellar efforts by all involved, as writes the Mirror, it was Bobby and Dianne who were unanimously saved by the judges.
Viewers at home were not happy to see Bobby and Dianne in the bottom two, as they’d finished at the midway point on the leaderboard when it came to judges’ scores, with 35.
When the pair’s name was called, their fellow celebs and pro dancers let out a collective “huge gasp” according to Annabel Croft.
Craig Revel Horwood said he saved Bobby because: "Well, there’s a standout performance for me that I can’t ignore and the couple that I would like to save are Bobby and Dianne" while Motsi Mabuse explained of her decision: "I felt that both couples danced so beautifully. Really one of the most beautiful dance-offs we have had. I am going to save Bobby and Dianne."

Anton Du Beke said: "Well again, I thought it was a marvellous dance-off. Both couples danced very, very well. I thought Bobby and Dianne danced excellently again. I thought that Angela and Kai’s dance was beautiful and Angela even thanked one of the other dancers for lifting her and putting her down so gracefully which I thought was absolutely beautiful. For me the couple I would like to save are Bobby and Dianne" while Head Judge, Shirley Ballas, added: "I would also have saved Bobby and Dianne!"
Fans took to social media to let their feelings be known. One said: "How on EARTH he was in the dance-off is beyond me. One of the best of the night!!!!!", a different account put: "IM SORRY HE WAS IN THE DANCE OFF!!!!!!!!!!!"
Another said: "I'm absolutely fuming who was in the dance off when he was way better than others ffs" while a different fan added: "Not sure why Bobby was in the dance off!"
Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturday 25 November at 7:30pm with the results show on Sunday 26 November at 7:20pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
