The inquest into the death of Channel 4 host Phil Spencer 's parents has been taking place, with further details of the horror crash they were involved in being released.
The Mirror reports the Location, Location, Location host's mum Anne died after a lung infection and a brain injury brought on from being submerged underwater for up to 20 minutes.
Anne, 82, and Phil's father David, 89, both died after their car careered into a river on their family farm in August.
They had been on their way to a pub for lunch when their vehicle swerved off an access road and into the water at their estate in Littlebourne, near Canterbury, Kent.
Following the incident, emergency services including an air ambulance attended the scene. They were pulled from the car and taken to hospital but sadly Richard was pronounced dead and Anne died later. A female, in her 60s, was also in the car and suffered minor injuries.

Phil and siblings David, Caryn and Helen were together in the aftermath as they attempted to deal with the tragic event.
Phil's co-star Kirstie Allsopp told The Sun at the time: “I’ve spoken to Phil and it’s tragic for the Spencer family, but his parents were together and that’s something that is a great source of solace to them all. The family is very loving and close."
She added: "This is awful for all of the family, but they were together at the end and they were lovely people."
The inquest previously heard that that Richard died from aspiration pneumonitis.
