Child benefits
Child benefits is a social security payment which is distributed to the parents or guardians of children, teenagers and in some cases young adults. In the majority of countries the child benefit is means-tested an the amount paid out to people is usually dependant on the number of children you have. In the UK the money is administered by HMRC.
