The first details of the 2023 Coca-Cola Truck Tour have been announced, with the legendary festive truck once again set to journey across the UK this winter.
For many Scots, there is nothing that says 'Christmas' quite like the yearly Coca-Cola Truck Tour. The sparkly red truck, which features prominently in the soft drink's annual Christmas advertising campaign, allows people the chance to pick up a free coke if they are lucky enough to be in a city it visits.
As reported by The Mirror, the first dates of the highly anticipated tour have been unveiled. The Coca-Cola Truck Tour will kick off at the end of November in Dublin, while a visit to Belfast has also been announced.
While no Scottish dates have yet been revealed, Coca-Cola only announces the next location once it has arrived at its current destination — adding to the element of surprise. The company has encouraged the public to keep an eye on its social media channels to receive the latest updates.
Last year, the truck visited both Edinburgh and Glasgow. It is likely the Coca-Cola tour will visit at least one Scottish city again this winter.
Alongside the announcement of the 2023 tour, Coca-Cola commented: "We can confirm there will be a Truck Tour this year however our team are still finalising the details so keep an eye on our socials for updates."
Eventbrite has also revealed the details and listed the price for €3.14 — around £2.75 — for each of the sessions. The Eventbrite page for the Belfast event states: "Coca-Cola presents ‘The Real Magic Christmas Experience’ with local food vendors, fun festive experiences, music as well as the iconic Coca-Cola Christmas Truck.
"It will be the ultimate Christmas day out for all of the family. "
