Coronation Street's Daisy Midgeley has had a whirlwind few months on the cobbles from cheating scandals to shocking blackmail plots.

However, actress Charlotte Jordan who portrays the scandalous soap character's life is very different from her on-screen counterpart reports the Mirror.

Now, as Daisy struggles with her conflicting feelings, we take a look at actress Charlotte's life behind the scenes.

Soap star boyfriend

Away from the drama of Corrie, 28-year-old Charlotte is loved up with long-term boyfriend Paul.

During a lockdown episode of the soap - back in 2020, when actors were required to social distance - Paul confidently stepped up and appeared in a cameo during one scene, despite having no experience in acting.

In an interview with The Sun at the time, Charlotte recalled: "They roped my boyfriend in because we're shooting socially distanced. He's not an actor but he grew up watching Coronation Street. It was really fun just to see his little face when he looked at all the sets and stuff. It was very sweet. It was lovely."

It's believed that the loved-up pair have been together for a number of years now, with the couple welcoming their adorable dog Olive into their home at the beginning of 2020.

Gorgeous high-rise home

Charlotte's home is far from the Weatherfield flat Daisy shares with Daniel and his son Bertie.

The stylish high-rise apartment boasts incredible views of the Manchester skyline and is finished off with modern furnishings and characterful exposed brickwork.

Snaps shared to the stars Instagram shows that the spacious flat is well-lit, with the floor-to-ceiling windows allowing for plenty of sunshine.

When it comes to the interiors, Daisy has made it her own, with a comfortable sofa piled with cushions wrapped around a striking marble coffee table.
