I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! is only a matter of days away now from returning to our screens next weeks as Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly welcome a batch of fresh-faced celebs into the Australian jungle.

One of the faces ready to get stuck into life Down Under and battle it out out in bushtucker trials to be crowned King or Queen of the jungle is pop sensation Britney Spears younger sister - Jamie Lynn Spears.

And whilst most people will know her for the above reason, it appears the 32-year-old has a different belief why fans of the ITV reality show should recognise her name - as an American actress and singer.

The mum-of-two said in her VT: "I'm best known for being an actress and a singer. I have been doing it since I could basically walk."

Although Jamie Lynn did star the lead role of Zoey Brooks in Nickelodeon's Zoey 101 and Noreen Fitzgibbons in Netflix's Sweet Magnolias, her acting career didn't quite take off rocketing up the ranks.

Her 'music career' also didn't exactly hit the charts, although she did release some music singles, including an EP in country music.

People soon took to Twitter to react to her clip, as one said: "Be serious Jamie Lynn, you are best known for being Britney Spears's sister," with another adding: "Jamie Lynn spears ahaha a singer??? Give me a break."

"Jamie-Lynn spears is hilarious for saying actress and singer… I love the delulu of it….," quipped a third.

It comes as her sister Britney, 41, is believed to have taken aim at her younger sister ahead of her stint in the jungle by posting a cryptic quote.

The Toxic hitmaker has had a fractured relationship with her sister since 2018 after Jamie Lynn became a partial trustee of Britney's estate, according to a report by Vanity Fair.

She posted a quote originally said by Ernest Hemingway, which read: "All things truly wicked start from innocence," and captioned it with a pink flower emoji.

The pop star didn't elaborate although fans speculated it was about her sister. One follower wrote: "‘Your sister for example!! She’s about to go in the Jungle and us Brits are RUTHLESS.. we’ve got your back hun."

Another posted: "Hi Brittany I hope you enjoy Jamie Lynn suffering on I’m A Celeb I’ll definitely be putting my votes on her to do EVERY bush tucker trail."
