An event commemorating the life of Red Clydesider John McLean will be held on the centenary of his death this month in a Rutherglen Church.
Persecuted anti-war activist McLean was described as a champion for workers and a key figure in Red Clydeside.
He spent his life fighting for workers, from opposing involvement in WWI to fighting against rent increases and championing public housing, before he died on November 30, 1923.

To commemorate the centenary of his death, the local branch of the Scottish Socialist Party (SSP) is hosting an evening of music, film and food for thought in St Columbkille's Church Hall’s Room 4 on Saturday, November 25 from 7pm to 10pm.
Bill Bonnar, who recently stood as SSP candidate in the parliamentary by-election, will speak on Maclean's contribution to the socialist struggle in the period of Red Clydeside, the First World War and the Russian Revolution.
This will be followed by a showing of the 40-minute documentary film, "Red Skirts on Clydeside", celebrating the contribution of women in the rent strikes of 1915.
There will also be live music from socialist troubadour Alan Smart - aka Citizen Smart.
Bill Bonnar said: "John McLean is an inspirational and tragic figure who was pivotal to workers' struggles in the west of Scotland in the early 20th century.
“Many know of his life and work but others, particularly younger folk, will not have heard much about him.
“Unlike some heroic figures, there have been no movies or even documentaries made about him.
“All are welcome to come along to commemorate the man and also the struggles of women in the west of Scotland in opposing greedy landlords during WWI".
The event is open to all that are interested. Tickets can be booked via Eventbrite.
