PROSPEROUS VOYAGE (3:40) can cruise to victory in the Duke Of Cambridge Stakes on Day Two of Royal Ascot. Ralph Beckett’s horse spent much of her two-year-old career chasing home the high-class Inspiral. The filly was narrowly denied gained compensation by Cachet in the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket. Poor in the Coronation here, she finally turned the tables on Inspiral in the Falmouth back at HQ. The four-year-old then struggled to repeat that level on form on soft ground on her next few runs. However, she hit back when brushing aside Random Harvest on a faster surface at Epsom last time. The daughter of Zoffany should be primed so she can claim this hot Group 2 under Frankie Dettori.
RELIEF RALLY (2:30) can come to the punters’ rescue in the tricky Queen Mary Stakes. William Haggas’ filly wasn’t particularly well-fancied ahead of her debut at Windsor back in April. However, she oozed class when bolting up from the exciting Gaiden on the rain-softened ground. The two-year-old improved again when slamming Juniper Berries on better conditions at Salisbury. The daughter of Kodiac clearly has a bright future so she can stretch her unbeaten record to three.
LADY EROS (3:05) can wing-it for Team Gosden in the trappy Kensington Palace Handicap. The four-year-old opened her account with a decisive defeat of Tango Tonight at Wolverhampton. Not as good at Leicester, the filly returned to form with a good second to Night Battle at Lingfield. The bay wasn’t suited by stepping up to 1m 2f on soft ground when only fifth on her return here. However, she relished dropping to a mile when hammering the useful United Front at Yarmouth. The four-year-old looks nicely unexposed so she can get the better of some talented opponents.

Aidan O’Brien’s LUXEMBOURG ( 4:20 ) can shade a terrific renewal of the Prince Of Wales's Stakes. The colt seemed to have the world at his feet when thrashing Sissoko in the Doncaster Futurity. However, he didn’t please everyone when third to Coroebus in the 2000 Guineas at Newmarket. The bay also failed to silence all his doubters when narrowly land a Curragh Group 3 over 1m 2f. The four-year-old answered those critics when hosing up in the Irish Champion at Leopardstown. He then ran well for a long way before his stamina eventually deserted him in the Arc at Longchamp. The star definitely needed the run when fifth to Visualisation on his return at the Curragh. He put that effort to good use when cosily denying Bay Bridge in a Group 1 at the same track. The Ballydoyle raider still looks upwardly mobile so he can eclipse the middle-distance elite.
The Royal Hunt Cup is as mind-boggling as ever but I’m rowing in with DUNUM (5:00). Natalia Lupini’s raider made rapid progress last season with a tremendous Summer four-timer. He then looked a natural for these red-hot handicaps when edged by Half Nutz at the Curragh. The gelding resumed winning ways when comfortably despatching Blues Emperor at Limerick. He soon kept up the good work when pipped by Rahmi in yet another strong Curragh handicap. This historic prize has definitely been the aim ever since so he can shrug off a career-high mark.
CIRCLE OF FIRE (5:35) can give Charles III his first Royal Ascot success in the Queen’s Vase. Sir Michael Stoute’s horse looked smart when powering to victory from Tabaretta at Salisbury. He was unlucky to encounter the high-class Castle Way on his return in the Newmarket Stakes. The colt then stayed-on strongly to take third behind Military Order in the Lingfield Derby Trial. The son of Almanzor looks tailor-made for 1m 6f so he can get the better of some exciting foes.
MAXIMUM IMPACT ( 6:10 ) can cap Alice Haynes’ terrific season in the Windsor Castle Stakes. The juvenile justified heavy market support when caining Regal Fighter on debut at Leicester. The grey boosted his reputation again when storming clear of Action Point over track and trip. The colt looks a genuine Group-class sprinter so he can complete a hat-trick for his skilled yard.
