LEZOO (3:05) can reign for Ralph Beckett in the Commonwealth Cup on Day Four Of Royal Ascot. The filly looked a smart sprinter in the making when slamming Cuban Mistress on debut at Bath. She boosted her reputation again when brushing aside Malrescia in Listed company at Newmarket. The three-year-old was then unlucky to meet the classy Mawj upped to Grade 2 level back at HQ. The bay showed a liking for this track when decisively defeating Kinta in the Princess Margaret. She made a tremendous return to Newmarket when outbattling Meditate in the Cheveley Park. The star ran well for a long way when eighth on her return in the 1000 Guineas at the same venue. The daughter of Zoustar simply didn’t stay a mile so she can bag this Group 1 back over six furlongs.

PORTA FORTUNA (2:30) can land the odds for shrewd Joseph O’Brien in the Albany Stakes. The filly showed class and guts to edge Ellie Moore first time out in a typically hot Curragh maiden. The juvenile shrugged off a promotion to Group 3 level when just denying Navassa Island at Naas. There is plenty more to come from this speedy type who can get the better of some exciting rivals.

AIMERIC (3:40) can continue Roger Varian’s magnificent run in the Duke Of Edinburgh Stakes. The four-year-old built on some fine efforts when pipping Heights Of Abraham over 1m 5f at Ayr. However, the gelding was sent for wind surgery after flopping in a competitive handicap at York. That proved a wise decision when the bay cosily defeated Apparate on his comeback at Doncaster. The son of Frankel should be primed so he can cash-in on an attractive mark under James Doyle.

The top trainer can strike again with KING OF STEEL (5:35) in the King Edward VII Stakes. The grey didn’t seem likely to make much of an impact for his current handler in the Epsom Derby. However, he surpassed all expectations with an excellent second to the brilliant Auguste Rodin . The colt is relatively unexposed so he can gain compensation in these slightly calmer waters.

Dermot Weld’s TAHIYRA (4:20) is almost impossible to oppose in the Coronation Stakes. The filly looked a potential superstar when hammering Meditate in the Moyglare at the Curragh. She ran another blinder when edged by Mawj on her late return in the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket. The bay put that effort to good use when easily taking the Irish version back at the Curragh last time. The three-year-old is miles clear of her rivals on all known form so she can enjoy more Group 1 glory.

The Sandringham Stakes looks much tougher but I’m rowing in with COPY ARTIST ( 5:00 ) Andrew Balding’s horse was an eye-catching second to The Ivy on her second outing at Chelmsford. The three-year-old kept up the good work when a close second to the talented Choisya at Southwell. She then handled this track well when giving the progressive Queen For You most resistance in April. This huge prize has been the target ever since so the filly can take advantage of a nice opening mark.

The Holyrood House Stakes is another head-scratcher but I’m rowing in with TAWALLA (6:10). Charlie Fellowes ’ colt left his tepid juvenile form behind when second to Changeofmind at Catterick. The speedster quickly opened his account by thrashing Harriet's Angel on soft conditions at Ripon. He took his form up another notch when comfortably beating Holy Fire on the Kempton all-weather. The three-year-old won’t mind faster ground so he can pass his toughest test yet with flying colours.
