The superstar was slightly unlucky so she can enjoy another top-level triumph back over six furlongs.

SNELLEN (2:30) can give Jump Ace Gavin Cromwell a big Flat winner in the Chesham Stakes. The two-year-old was a well-backed 7-4 favourite ahead of her debut at Limerick nine days ago. The filly duly delighted her many supporters with a convincing defeat of the exciting Ennereilly. There is plenty more to come from this pacey type who can deny some promising opponents.

ENFJAAR (3:05) can cap Roger Varian’s tremendous week by claiming the Jersey Stakes. The colt showed class and guts to outpoint the talented Arabian Storm on debut at Newmarket. He boosted his reputation yet again when absolutely bolting up from Lion Tamer at Chelmsford. The three-year-old is clearly Group-class so he can land another strong renewal of this Group 3.

The gelding kicked-off 2023 with an excellent third behind Probe in a hot event at Newmarket. The sprinter ran another blinder when just failing to reel-in Badri in the Tokyo Trophy at Epsom. The son of Equiano remains in top form so he can shade this trappy contest for his shrewd yard.

CUBAN DAWN (5:35) rates a typical Jim Bolger improver in the Golden Gates Stakes. The colt was a respectable fourth behind Paddington on debut in Listed company at the Curragh. The bay was then only narrowly denied his first success by Harbour Wind down in grade at Cork. He took his form up another notch when edged by Nation's Call in another hot maiden at Gowran. The three-year-old was staying-on strongly so he can make a winning handicap debut over 1m 2f.

DAWN RISING (6:10) can shade the trappy Queen Alexandra Stakes for Joseph O’Brien. The six-year-old developed into a useful Flat performer for his trainer’s father Aidan back in 2020. The gelding was successfully re-invented as a Grade 1-placed hurdler by his current connections. The bay made a pleasing return to the level when a fine third to Yashin in a Leopardstown Group 3. JP McManus’ challenger should relish today’s marathon trip so he can cash-in on an attractive mark.
