Small business owners in Scotland are being urged to talk about their experiences, challenges and ambitions in navigating the post-pandemic landscape.
The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) Scotland has launched its biggest ever 'state of the nation' survey project, The Big Small Business Survey.
It will ask small business owners an extended series of questions to capture a comprehensive snapshot of the small business community in Scotland.
The aim of this survey is to give small businesses in Scotland, and by extension, the communities they represent a bigger say.
This is so FSB Scotland can make sure its policy work continues to be evidence-based and decision makers both locally and nationally are aware of what the needs are for Scotland's small business community.
'Challenging time'
Project leader Stacey Dingwall, Head of Policy at FSB Scotland, said: "It has been an incredibly challenging time for businesses over the last couple of years and 2023 looks like it could be even more difficult.
"That is why it's more important than ever to open a space up for small business owners to tell us what they are experiencing, what their challenges and ambitions are, and what effects local, national, and global events are having on their businesses.
"By getting a comprehensive view of the small business community in post-pandemic Scotland we can make sure that our policy work continues to be evidence-based and decision-makers locally and nationally are aware of what their needs are."
Complete the survey
As experts in business, the Federation of Small Businesses offers members a wide range of vital business services, including advice, financial expertise, support and a powerful voice in Government.
Its survey is open to all small business owners, not just FSB members, so all operators are encouraged to fill out the survey, have their say and ensure their voice is heard before the closing date of March 10.
