Stacey Solomon was so moved by an online trend for families that she had to get involved and pay her own touching tribute to husband Joe Swash.
The ITV Loose Women star said she’d been left in tears as she watched videos of people joining the Instagram trend and was even more emotional when she did it herself. Stacey shared a reel of Joe with her two eldest sons - Zachary, 15, and Leighton, 11, who she had from previous relationships.
She told the former EastEnders actor he was the “best male role model our sons could wish for" as she posted the footage of the boys with her other half and said the idea “speaks to my heart”.
Stacey uploaded the heart-warming video, as writes Wales Online, which started with: “Me: But I have two children…” Him: Yep I know”
And in the caption, she said: "I think it just reminded me how small the boys were when I met Joe & what a massive positive, special influence Joe’s been on their lives. Also now they’re teenagers we don’t get as many videos which also made me cry."
She then told Joe: "You’re the best male role model our boys could wish for. We are so lucky to have found you. To the moon and stars and back again bub. No steps, No halves, just family."
Stacey and Joe share Rex, four, Rose, two and nine-month old Belle and Joe also has son Harry from a previous relationship.
Fans flooded her post with comments, with some saying it brought hope to them for the future.
Her friend Sophie Hinchcliffe, better known as Mrs Hinch, said: "I'm crying. Just adorable. xx" Nickyleigh79 added: "No steps, no halves, just family. I love that."
