A new mum's shocking video has gone viral after she revealed how her husband asked her what she planned to cook for dinner while she was in labour.

First-time mum Jenna, from the US, gave an account of her husband's "horrendous" behaviour as they awaited the birth of their child while she was worrying if her baby would be ok.

Her video shared on TikTok explained all the 'dumb things' her husband did during the labour but it was deleted it just four hours later when viewers started sharing their outrage, according to the Mirror.

Jenna said: "My waters broke at 2pm, and at 6pm he asked me what was for dinner. I told him he was on his own because I was busy dilating, and I wasn't able to make him fajitas.

"A few hours later, at 9pm, I was on my hands and knees in our bedroom and felt like I was going to throw up."

Jenna said her husband then brought her their dog's food bowl in case she needed to get sick and by 1am, she had dilated enough to go to the hospital.

"My husband decided to take the scenic route to the emergency room," she continued. "It's a new route, new way, we've never been this way to the hospital."

After giving birth, Jenna was sickened to discover that her husband had shared photos to their family group chat of delivery which visibly showed her breast and vagina, without asking for permission.

A few hours later, when nurses had told Jenna to eat something before she left the hospital, her husband demanded that she split the protein bar she had packed with him.

Jenna's confession comes after another woman revealed she kicked her husband out the delivery room while in labour, after he pulled a prank on her. The mum-to-be had been in labour for around eight hours and had just finished another round of contractions, when her husband let out the loudest fart and shouted at her, "What the hell have you been eating? It smells disgusting!"

She immediately recognised this little routine as one of the pranks from the videos he'd been watching and was absolutely furious, so demanded he leave the room for not honouring her wishes of no pranks.

"After the delivery I told the nurse he could come back into the room and he was fuming. He started demanding that I tell him why I kicked him out. I calmly told him the reason but he was p***ed. He hasn't talked to me in a week. His mom is taking his side saying that I was a complete bitch for kicking him out. Normally he will defend me from her but this time he completely agreed."
